Uxbridge

Welcome to Uxbridge

A rural community with exciting plans for future development.

Saturated with lush, natural beauty, Uxbridge is a farm town with a bright future. It’s considered the “Trail Capital of Canada,” thanks to its many gorgeous trails perfect for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and skiing. It’s an agricultural hub, but it’s also home to many artisans, from chefs to musicians to brewmasters, and it’s quickly becoming a sought-after place to enjoy the finer things in life.

The community’s oldest building, The Uxbridge Friends Meeting House on Quaker Hill, was built in 1820. It existed on its own until the late 1800s when the Toronto and Nipissing Railroad arrived, making Uxbridge its headquarters for over a decade. In 1954, Uxbridge became the second Canadian town to receive a coat of arms, which can still be seen on display in front of the Music Hall .
While there are plenty of beautiful older homes to choose from in Uxbridge, the new constructions here are also exciting. Single-family homes, condos, and townhomes have sprung up around golf courses and nestled among the trees and trails, bringing luxury and modern amenities to this rural community.
